Đinh Bộ Lĩnh was born in 924 in Hoa Lư (south of the Red River Delta, in what is today Ninh Bình Province).Growing up in a local village during the disintegration of the Chinese Tang dynasty that had dominated Vietnam for centuries, Đinh Bộ Lĩnh became a local military leader at a very young age.

The Đức Dục Massacre was a massacre of South Vietnamese civilians committed by the People’s Army of Vietnam (PAVN) and Viet Cong (VC) during the Vietnam War, in Đức Dục District, (now Duy Phú commune, Duy Xuyên District) Quảng Nam Province, South Vietnam on 29 March 1971.
In June 1990, the school was officially established as Hoai Duc C High School, Hoai Duc District. In January 1994, the school belonged to Quoc Oai district, and was renamed Cao Ba Quat High School by Ha Tay Provincial People's Committee.
