The Salado Springs salamander (Eurycea chisholmensis) is a species of salamander in the family Plethodontidae. It is endemic to the vicinity of Salado, Texas. [1] [3] Its natural habitat is freshwater springs. It has been found only from a few springs that feed Salado Creek in Bell County, Texas.

[1] The springs are located 48 miles (77 km) north of Austin or 135 miles (217 km) south of Dallas. The springs, which are not saline (salado is Spanish for "salty"), were likely named for Salado Creek.
The team reformed in 1998, playing in the USISL Premier Development Soccer League, a U.S. fourth division league. In 2000, they changed their name to the Denver Cougars and played three more years in the PDL. [5] In 2003 the team folded and ceased operation.
