The O2 Academy Oxford is a night club and live music venue in Oxford, England, operated by Academy Music Group. [ 1 ] Its previous names include the Coop Hall, the Oxford Venue, the Zodiac and the Carling Academy Oxford.
The Sheldonian Theatre, in the centre of Oxford, England, was built from 1664 to 1669 after a design by Christopher Wren for the University of Oxford. The building is named after Gilbert Sheldon, Warden of All Souls College and later chancellor of the University. Sheldon was the project's main financial backer.

The Oxford Symphony Orchestra is a non-professional large orchestra based in Oxford. It formerly was known as the Oxford Orchestral Society and (prior to 1919) Dr Allen's Orchestra. It was founded by Sir Hugh Allen, who served as its first conductor, in 1902. Maurice Besly was his immediate successor. [1]
