Kingsgrove Bus Depot is a bus depot in the Sydney suburb of Kingsgrove operated by Transit Systems. History. Kingsgrove Bus Depot opened on 22 February 1948.
Kingsgrove station opened on 21 September 1931 when the East Hills line opened from Tempe to East Hills. [3] It was the original terminus of the double track electrified section from Tempe. Until 1939, passengers transferred at Kinsgrove to a CPH railmotor or steam service to continue their journey towards East Hills.
As of January 2025, it has an allocation of 284 buses, including 6 electric buses, across 5 depots - Taren Point, Menai, The Crescent (Kingsgrove), Revesby and Marrickville for the 40 Southwest Link replacement buses.

As of January 2025, Transit Systems NSW operates a fleet of 1244 buses [10] with 119 of them being electric. [11] Many of these buses were inherited from other operators such as Westbus, Metro-link Bus Lines, Hopkinsons, Interline, Busabout, Transdev and State Transit when Transit Systems took over their operations.
