12Stone Church (also known simply as "12Stone") is an American Wesleyan [1] multi-site megachurch with multiple locations in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Kevin Myers is the Founding Pastor, having transitioned out of the Senior Pastor role in 2023. Jason Berry currently serves as the Senior Pastor of 12Stone.
The church was founded in 1939 in Scottdale as Travelers Rest Baptist Church. [1] In 1983, it moved to Decatur and adopted its current name. Eddie Long took over as pastor in 1987. At the time, the church had only 300 members. In 1994, New Birth became a member of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. [2]
The museum is open to visitors daily during normal hours of operation (10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday) and by appointment at other times. Guests are given guided tours through the church facility and the museum. The church began offering tours to the public in the early 1970s.
