Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library is an American estate and museum in Winterthur, Delaware. Winterthur houses one of the richest collections of Americana in the United States. [1] [2] The museum and estate were the home of Henry Francis du Pont (1880–1969), Winterthur's founder and a prominent antiques collector and horticulturist.

The project was started by Melissa Tedone, head of library materials conservation at the Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library in Delaware, United States. As of 2012, Hunt is creating a collection of paintings of the Winterthur Museum featuring the rooms, spaces, and grounds. [3] The project began in 1996 and is still in progress. In order to maintain the integrity of the collection, none of the original paintings have been sold. [ 4 ]
