Brevort Township is a civil township of Mackinac County in the U.S. state of Michigan.As of the 2020 census, the population was 502, [2] down from 594 in 2010. [5]The township was named after Henry Brevort (or Brevoort), a surveyor assigned to subdivide the area in 1845. [6]
The community of Brevort is not actually located in Brevort Township, which is to the east. Also, the community of Moran is not located in Moran Township but is within Brevort Township. The nearest sizable community is the city of St. Ignace about 15 miles (24.1 km) to the southeast.

Cut River Bridge is a cantilevered steel deck bridge over the Cut River in the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan.It is located along U.S. Highway 2 (US 2) in Hendricks Township, Mackinac County, [1] between Epoufette and Brevort, about 25 miles (40 km) northwest of St. Ignace and the Straits of Mackinac.
