Cass City is a village in Elkland Township, Tuscola County in the Flint/Tri-Cities area of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,428 at the 2010 U.S. Census and 2,643 at the 2000 U.S. Census (a decrease of about 8%). It is located along M-81 approximately four miles (6.4 km) west of that highway's intersection with M-53.
Corey is an unincorporated community on M-60 near the eastern boundary with Fabius Township in St. Joseph County at Corey was platted by Amanda Weatherwax in 1872. It was named for Corey Lake approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to the northeast in St. Joseph County. [5]

LaGrange Township is located just northwest of the center of Cass County. It is bordered by the city of Dowagiac to the northwest. The village of Cassopolis, the Cass County seat, is in the southeast part of the township. The unincorporated community of LaGrange is in the center of the township, at the west end of LaGrange Lake.
