    this page on snood.com says that "[Dobson] released the first non-beta version of Snood on February 18, 1999." But then it goes on to say this was version 2.1 and it sounds like it was the first DOS version that was released in 1999 and Mac versions predated that. Still, that is 5 years after Puzzle Bobble, so I would guess Snood came after.
