Forres station, as rebuilt 1956. During 1954–55, the station building was replaced with a new red brick building. This included a new ticket office, toilets and waiting rooms. The original 1863 building was constructed out of wood. The current building is located directly in front of the site of the 1863 station. The previous station in 1997
