Yousuf Khan made his debut in the Pakistani film Parwaaz in 1954. [2] He started his film career as a supporting actor, but later matured into a lead actor. He started his film career when the Pakistani film industry was ruled by big name actors like Sudhir, Santosh Kumar, Darpan and Aslam Pervaiz.

Yusuf Khan was born in Egypt as Yousuff Abousher. He came to Bombay, India, and became a Bollywood actor in the late 1960s. He is the father of Bollywood and television actor Faraaz Khan and the stepfather of television actor Fahmaan Khan. He died in Hyderabad in 1985 from a brain hemorrhage. [1] [2]
