In Mac OS X 10.7, support for reading and writing files in JSON format was introduced. JSON and property lists are not fully compatible with each other, though. For example, property lists have native date and data types, which the JSON format does not support. Conversely, JSON permits null values while property lists do not support explicit nulls.
Although Crockford originally asserted that JSON is a strict subset of JavaScript and ECMAScript, [15] his specification actually allows valid JSON documents that are not valid JavaScript; JSON allows the Unicode line terminators U+2028 LINE SEPARATOR and U+2029 PARAGRAPH SEPARATOR to appear unescaped in quoted strings, while ECMAScript 2018 ...
Many field values may contain a quality (q) key-value pair separated by equals sign, specifying a weight to use in content negotiation. [9] For example, a browser may indicate that it accepts information in German or English, with German as preferred by setting the q value for de higher than that of en, as follows: Accept-Language: de; q=1.0 ...
The number of edges along the shortest path between two nodes. Level The level of a node is the number of edges along the unique path between it and the root node. [4] This is the same as depth. Width The number of nodes in a level. Breadth The number of leaves. Forest A set of one or more disjoint trees. Ordered tree
Like Pascal, FORTRAN II, Fortran 66, Fortran 77, and later versions of Fortran specify return values by an assignment to the function name, but also have a return statement; that statement does not specify a return value and, for a function, causes the value assigned to the function name to be returned. Code that uses this iterator can test the current item (to tell, for example, whether it is a start-tag or end-tag, or text), and inspect its attributes (local name, namespace, values of XML attributes, value of text, etc.), and can also move the iterator to the next item. The code can thus extract information from the document as it traverses it.
Python 3.3 switched internal storage to use one of ISO-8859-1, UCS-2, or UTF-32 depending on the largest code point in the string. [31] Python 3.12 drops some functionality (for CPython extensions) to make it easier to migrate to UTF-8 for all strings. [32] Java originally used UCS-2, and added UTF-16 supplementary character support in J2SE 5.0.
This JSON file provides Nimble with a mapping between the names of packages and their Git or Mercurial repository URLs. Nimble comes with the Nim compiler. Thus, it is possible to test the Nimble environment by running: nimble -v. This command will reveal the version number, compiling date and time, and Git hash of nimble. Nimble uses the Git ...
