Four Wheel Drive is the fourth studio album by Canadian rock band Bachman–Turner Overdrive, released in 1975 (see 1975 in music).It peaked at No. 1 in Canada on the RPM national albums chart on October 4 and again on October 18, 1975 [3] [4] while hitting No. 5 on the U.S. Pop Albums chart.
"Hey You" is a song written by Randy Bachman, and was first recorded by Canadian rock group Bachman–Turner Overdrive (BTO) for their 1975 album Four Wheel Drive. It was the first and more successful of two singles issued from the LP, the second being "Quick Change Artist", which was released in Canada only.
A remastered version was released in 1998, titled Best of B.T.O. (Remastered Hits), which added the tracks "Four Wheel Drive", "Free Wheelin'", and "Down to the Line". The European issue added another six tracks. All songs were also full-length album versions, though in the U.S. the single edit of "Let It Ride" was used.
