Forever 1 is the seventh Korean studio album and tenth overall by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation.It was released digitally on August 5 and physically on August 8, 2022, by SM Entertainment to commemorate the group's fifteenth anniversary since their debut in 2007.
Girls' Generation's third Korean and fourth studio album, The Boys (2011), was the best-selling album of the year in South Korea. [7] The title track reached number one in South Korea. The group's second Japanese studio album and fifth overall, Girls & Peace (2012), spawned the singles "Oh!", " Paparazzi " and " Flower Power ".
Following the album's release, Girls' Generation was ranked as the second best-selling album of November 2007, selling just over 49,400 copies. It was the 12th best-selling album of the year overall in South Korea, with sales of 56,800 copies; the CD single of "Into the New World" additionally sold over 22,800 copies within the year.
