A conlang is nót part of an oeuvre, and therefore tends to overshadow its creator in importance: everybody knows Klingon, but who knows Marc Okrand? From this point of view, conlangs are best compared with series of comic books: Tintin is far more famous than his creator, Hergé , and in the case of comix that is a common phenomenon.
