Kickapoo State Recreation Area is an Illinois state park on 2,842 acres (1,150 ha) in Vermilion County, Illinois, United States. Located between Oakwood, Illinois and Danville, Illinois, this park is easily accessible through route I-74.
From the event's inception in 1971 through 1974, it was played at Crow Valley Country Club in Davenport, Iowa. It then moved to Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, Illinois from 1975 to 1999. Beginning in 2000 , the event has been at the TPC at Deere Run in Silvis.

A tract of land outside Oakwood was acquired for the new council camp with financial assistance from the Rotary Club. The camp was founded in 1932 and is named for Robert J.
