I didn't want a basic Springfield and wanted a forged reciever, completely unaware that LRB was a thing at that time. I knew of Fulton, Springfield, Bula, Norinco, and James River.

    I have had two rifles built by LRB, an M25 and an M14SA. The M14SA was built on a Harrington & Richardson CMP parts kit with a new standard Criterion barrel, unitized gas system and a Sadlak spring guide. I installed it all in a cracked birch stock (not bedded or shimmed) I got from a member here that I repaired.
