MS Baltic Princess is a cruiseliner owned by the Estonia-based ferry operator Tallink and operated under their Silja Line brand. She was built by Aker Finnyards Helsinki New Shipyard in Helsinki, Finland in 2008. The ship began service on the cruise route between Helsinki, Finland to Tallinn, Estonia on 17 August 2008. [3]
In October 2009, the Managing Director of Silja Line (Tallink Silja Oy), Keijo Mehtonen, retired and Margus Schults was appointed to the post. [26] In February 2013 MS Baltic Princess switched routes with the MS Silja Europa, with Baltic Princess now placed on the Turku–Stockholm route and Silja Europa on Helsinki–Tallinn cruises.
So the ferries started trafficking from Helsinki to Stockholm in 1972 to lengthen a two-way trip to over 24 hours. Silja Line started all-year-round traffic from the Olympia Terminal to Stockholm in 1972 and regular traffic to Tallinn in 1995. However, regular traffic to Tallinn from the Olympia Terminal ceased in 2005. The terminal and its ferry docks were renovated in 1989/1990 to handle larger ships. [2]

MyStar is a roll-on/roll-off passenger (ro-pax) ferry operated by the Estonian shipping company Tallink on the Tallinn–Helsinki route. The vessel was built by Rauma Marine Constructions in Rauma, Finland and entered service in December 2022. As of 2024, MyStar is the newest ship in Tallink's fleet.
