Paula Badosa defeated Marie Bouzková in the final, 6–1, 4–6, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Washington Open. [1] It was her fourth career WTA Tour title, and her first since January 2022. Badosa was the second wildcard to win the tournament, after Nadia Petrova in 2011.

[1] Coco Gauff and McNally were the reigning champions from when the event was last held in 2019, [2] but Gauff did not participate.
