The Kerala cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Kerala. It is in the Elite Group of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first class cricket tournament in India. It was known as Travancore-Cochin cricket team until 1957/58. [1] Kerala has produced two Indian Test cricketers, Tinu Yohannan and S. Sreesanth. [2]
2020–21 KCA President's Cup T20 was the first edition of KCA President's Cup T20. It was planned to be held from 17 December 2020 to 3 January. But the tournament got postponed as the Kerala Cricket Association didn't get a clearance from the Kerala state government to organize the tournament due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India and governs the Kerala cricket team, as well as the Kerala Cricket League. KCA is also the parent body of 14 district associations – one in each of the revenue districts of Kerala. KCA participates in all age group tournaments conducted by the BCCI in both men's and women's categories.
