Park Ave. was an indie pop band that started in January 1996 in Omaha, Nebraska. The band lasted only two and a half years, but still retains a substantial fanbase. During their short time together, Park Ave. (named after an actual street in their hometown of Omaha, Nebraska) received rave reviews for their brand of indie pop music. [1]
Bergen was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Lucy (née Lawhorne; 1909–1985) and William Hugh Burgin (1909–1982), a construction engineer. [1] Bill Bergen, as he was later known, had singing talent and appeared with his daughter in several episodes of her 18-episode comedy/variety show The Polly Bergen Show, which aired during the 1957–1958 television season to much fanfare.

Gloria Gaynor's Park Avenue Sound features the moderate hit singles "You're All I Need to Get By" and "This Love Affair," the latter co-written by Gloria Gaynor herself. The track "For the First Time in My Life" has been included in several compilations of Gaynor's work, including an album from the Universal Masters Collection series.
Park is from Springfield, Illinois. They began in 1996 with Justin Valenti, Eric Lipe, Jon Heupel, and Andy Wildrick. [1] After three shows as a trio Park played with one of Ladd Mitchell's former bands and Ladd joined Park a week later. Lipe and Heupel left in 2000 to pursue school and were replaced by Miles Logan and Timmy Costello.
