This list of motor yachts by length, is a table of the world's longest active superyachts, with an overall length of at least 75 metres (246 ft) and up. These boats are also known as "megayachts", "gigayachts" and even "terayachts", usually depending on length.

In 2009, Nero won Best Motor Yacht over 75 metres (246 ft) at the 2009 ShowBoats International Design Awards. [ 7 ] [ 8 ] [ 9 ] Also in 2009, the yacht was listed for sale with Merle Wood & Associates and Burgess at €75 million (US$98 million).

According to Power and Motoryacht magazine, she was owned by Aidan Barclay, son of the British media tycoon David Barclay, who recently purchased the Telegraph newspaper. She was sold after her former owner, Larry Ellison, took delivery of Rising Sun, the 6th largest private yacht in the world at the time.
