Mercy College of Ohio is a private Roman Catholic nursing school in Toledo and Youngstown, Ohio. It was founded as the Mercy School of Nursing in 1918 by the Sisters of Mercy. The name was changed in August 2011 from Mercy College of Northwest Ohio to its current name. [2] Mercy College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. [2]
In 1982, the college was one of eleven nursing schools that received the Robert Wood Johnson Teaching Nursing Home Project Grant. In 1987, IBM chose the college as one of fifteen to develop computer-assisted interactive video for health sciences. A nursing doctoral program and nurse anesthetist master's program were established in 1990.

Hondros College of Nursing is a private, for-profit college that focuses on nursing education with locations in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.It has one campus in Indianapolis, Indiana, [1] and Detroit, Michigan [2] as well as six campuses in Ohio: Akron, Cincinnati (West Chester), Cleveland (Independence), Columbus (Westerville), Dayton [3] and Toledo (Maumee).
The 70-acre Columbus campus is located near downtown Columbus, Ohio. It consists of 26 buildings, and was previously the site of Aquinas College High School. The newer Delaware campus is located off of US 23 and consists of two buildings and a large green space. The first building was completed in 2010 and can accommodate ~3,000 students.
