Okada Manila (Japanese: オカダマニラ, romanized: Okada Manira) is a casino resort and hotel complex located on the Entertainment City gaming strip in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. With a total construction cost of about ¥ 250 billion, Okada Manila was established and opened after seven years of construction in 2017.
Okada Manila (formerly Manila Bay Resorts) is the third resort casino complex to open in Entertainment City. It is owned by Tiger Resorts Leisure and Entertainment, Inc., the Philippine subsidiary of Universal Entertainment Corporation. It features a large fountain and an indoor beach club. The resort casino opened on December 30, 2016.
It features several brutalist structures designed in the 1960s and 1970s by Leandro Locsin, such as the Tanghalang Pambansa, the Philippine International Convention Center, and the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila. Other landmarks in the complex include the Coconut Palace, the Manila Film Center, Star City amusement park, and Harbour Square. [2]
Jose W. Diokno Boulevard commences at the intersection with Gil Puyat Avenue Extension and Zoilo Hilario Street, near the Manila Film Center, as a logical continuation of Atang Dela Rama Street. The 100-meter (330 ft) J.W. Diokno Bridge carries the boulevard across the Libertad Channel, connecting the CCP-FCA Island with Central Business Park 1-A.
