Play is a 1991 album by the British new wave group Squeeze.It is the band's ninth album, and their only released by Reprise Records.It is the first LP in the Squeeze discography to feature only four official members instead of five (Steve Nieve took on many of the keyboard duties that would have gone to Jools Holland in the past).

Squeeze are a British rock band active from 1974 to 1982, from 1985 to 1999, and from 2007 to the present date. Founded by Glenn Tilbrook (guitar, vocals), Chris Difford (guitar, vocals), Jools Holland (keyboards) and Paul Gunn (drums), the group have released 15 studio albums, 14 compilation albums, 4 live albums, 1 extended play, 48 singles and 34 music videos.
The idea of Squeeze Play! came from a suggestion that Kaufman and Herz should make a movie about a women's softball team and their amorous adventures. Kaufman added the comedy element, and along with his brother Charles and screenwriter Haim Pekelis, a 75-page screenplay was finally worked out; the Kaufmans provided the ideas for sight gags and jokes, and Pekelis worked out the plot.
"Satisfied" is the second single released from Squeeze's ninth album, Play, in the UK, and the first in the United States. Although only a promotional radio single was released in the US, the song climbed to #3 on the Modern Rock charts there. In the band's homeland, a full commercial single release failed to chart at all.
