"Halo" is a song by Scottish alternative rock band Texas, released on 7 April 1997 as the second single from their fourth studio album, White on Blonde (1997). The song was written by Texas frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri and guitarist Johnny McElhone and was produced by Texas and Mike Hedges .
Outside of the traditional music charts, Billboard magazine also specifically noted its strong performance on music streaming websites. The song was an especially successful song on YouTube , with the track receiving 285.4 million views between September 2014 and November 2016. [ 7 ]
