The Northwest Suburban Conference is an athletic conference for all northwest suburban high schools of Minneapolis, Minnesota. On August 30, 2024, Maple Grove announced that they will be switching from the Northwest Suburban Conference to join the Lake Conference in the fall of 2025.

The Big South Conference play began with the 2014–2015 school year. Foundation members of the conference were thirteen schools, with six coming from the South Central Conference (the SCC of the c. pre-2010s [ a ] ), which competed in the East Division, and seven coming from the Southwest Conference (SWC), which competes in the West Division.
