Manchester Community College (MCC) is a public community college in Manchester, Connecticut.Founded in 1963, it is the third-oldest of the twelve community colleges governed by the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities system (CSCU) and has graduated more than 23,000 students since the first class in 1965.
Chabot College opened for classes on September 11, 1961, on a 7.5-acre (30,000 m 2) temporary site in San Leandro with an enrollment of 1,163 students. The 94-acre (380,000 m 2 ) Chabot College site on Hesperian Boulevard in Hayward opened for its first day of classes on September 20, 1965.
Las Positas College began as an extension program of Chabot College in 1963, [3] offering 24 classes and enrolling 810 students at three sites, including Livermore High School. By 1965, the program had expanded to Granada High School in Livermore and subsequently offered classes at Amador and Dublin High Schools as well.

During summer 1972, the law school moved from downtown Cincinnati across the Ohio River to NKU's Covington campus. In 1981, Chase moved to its present location on the NKU campus in Highland Heights, remaining within the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky metropolitan area. In 2006, the college of law was rebranded NKU Salmon P. Chase College of Law. [5]
The Monroe Community College athletics program, commonly known as the MCC Tribunes, competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) in Region 3. MCC's athletics program began in 1962 with a men's basketball team coached by George C. Monagan, the school's athletic director from 1962 to 1988.
