The story of Marlin's quest is relayed by the turtles all across the ocean to Sydney, where it reaches Nigel, a pelican who regularly converses with the Tank Gang. Nigel tells the Tank Gang of Marlin's journey, motivating Nemo to try blocking the filter again. Nemo is successful, and the aquarium quickly becomes covered in green algae.
After Marlin explaining his quest to find his son, Crush's son, Squirt, pushes Marlin and Dory to their Sydney exit, but the two get lost and are swallowed by a giant whale. Marlin attempts, but fails to break through the whale's baleen, but Dory gleefully swims, oblivious that they're inside a whale.
Finding Nemo was released in 2003 by THQ. The goal in the game is to complete different levels under the roles of film protagonists Nemo, Marlin or Dory. It includes cutscenes from the movie and each clip is based on a level. For example, Marlin and Dory hopping through a batch of jellyfish. The game received mixed reviews.
