Mark Wagner (born 1976) is an American artist best known for meticulous collages made of United States banknotes, such as the portrait of Federal Reserve Bank Chairman Ben Bernanke, composed exclusively of one-dollar bills, in the collection of the Smithsonian Institution's National Portrait Gallery. She exhibited new collage works, Eunice Parsons, La Centenaire, at the Roll-Up Photo Studio Gallery in Portland to celebrate her centennial year in 2016. Talbot is the son of artist, Helen Talbot, who exhibited in New York in the early 1930s, [6] [7] and he was raised on a family farm in upstate New York in Putnam County. A youthful portrait of Jonathan Talbot was painted by the noted artist and illustrator, Arthur Lidov, [8] and it appeared on the cover of the December 1947 issue of The American Mercury magazine.
