Pembroke High School, is a public secondary school located on 80 Learning Lane in Pembroke, Massachusetts, United States. The school serves students in grades 9-12 and has an approximate student population of 930 students. It is the only high school serving the town of Pembroke. Students come directly from Pembroke Community Middle School (PCMS).
The Pembroke Hill School (usually referred to as Pembroke Hill) is a secular, coeducational, independent preparatory school for about 1,200 students in early years (age 2 years) through high school, separated into four sections: early years-prekindergarten (early childhood school), kindergarten-5th grade (lower school), 6th-8th grade (middle school), and 9th-12th grade (upper school).
In 1926 the school became a two-year post-secondary normal school; until then it had provided only primary and secondary instruction. [8] In 1939 it became a four-year institution, and in 1941 was renamed Pembroke State College for Indians. The next year, the school began to offer bachelor's degrees in disciplines other than teaching.

Pembroke Academy was incorporated on June 25, 1818, as a private school, and on May 25, 1819, the first building was dedicated. The academy opened with 48 students on May 26, 1819, and the first headmaster was Reverend Amos Burnham. [2] In its early years Pembroke Academy prepared many students for attendance at Dartmouth College. [3]
In 2015, Pembrokeshire County Council announced plans to build a new school and vocational centre on the grounds of the existing school. The plan was for the new school to be constructed and opened in time for the 2017–18 academic year, with the existing school demolished (with the exception of the science block) and replaced by sports facilities by Summer 2018.
