Long View Farm Studios was a music recording studio located in North Brookfield, Massachusetts that was founded in 1974 by Gilbert Scott Markle, a professor at Clark University, on his farm property. [1] [2] It was the location of recordings by many well-known musicians and bands, and it was used by the Rolling Stones as a rehearsal studio in 1981.
Chief of Longview, "The Great Parader", was born, raised, and trained at Longview Farm. Bought by Lurline Matson Roth , Chief was the World Champion stallion four times. He was the only horse to win the $10,000 stake at the Kentucky State Fair two successive years – 1928 and 1929.

Hartwell Farm was a restaurant in Lincoln, Massachusetts, United States. Established in 1925 by Marion Abbie Fitch, [ 1 ] a Boston schoolteacher, and Jane Hamilton Poor, an architect, [ 2 ] [ 3 ] it occupied the 1733-built Samuel Hartwell House , on Virginia Road in today's Minute Man National Historical Park . [ 4 ]
