The Dr. Kiran C. Patel Center for Global Solutions is a research center based at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.The Patel Center's main goals are to identify challenges in the developing world and find viable solutions to those problems, particularly issues related to potable water and sanitation, urbanization and migration, and sustainable activities.

The college was founded in 1981 as the only osteopathic medical school located in the Southeastern United States at the time.
Patel is active in the running of the Drs. Kiran and Pallavi Patel Family Office portfolio. He is co-founder and Chairman of the TiE Tampa Bay Angel Fund, and in 2019 he chaired the Community Empowerment Lab, a non-profit focused on entrepreneurship and community building.
