I'm joining this forum to ask you about an issue in my 2015 Kia Sportage automatic with only 27000 km. Recently I have noticed a plastic burning smell coming front the dash. The smell shows up when the car revs up to 3000rpm. Specially on hard accelerations.

I did connect obd2 scan tool, however, there is no fault code. Car has never been in an accident. Everything's perfect apart from airbag light.
I couldn't find 255/50 so I had to go with 255/55R19 and and not happy about it, there's a little rubbing in the front tires, that's kind of Ok, but what I hate the most, is that the rim now looks like a 17 inch due to so much rubber. My recommendation is, if you want 255 go for it but do it with 45, so at the end 255/45R19. San Jose, Costa Rica.
I have intermitten power loss (no acceleration) even when my pedal is right down. Recently it has got worse. As soon as I try and get between 2500-3000 revs, there is no more power even if I put my foot right down on the accelerator, yet I get no fault lights coming on. This can happen in any gear. I recently bough a Sorento, its a 2016 V6, it has a 3.3L but its not GDI, I'm in Costa Rica so we get a different engine. Thing it, it recently started making a weird noise but exclusively when accelerating, as soon as I come off the accelerator the noise stops. Only way for me to describe it is that this is very similar to the noise its made ...
