While I know what can be achieved through a remix, I don't remember having heard a remix with such a huge difference compared to the original. Never really cared for the album 'Delicate Sound of Thunder'. Bought it, played it, it's on the shelf. I really do like Pink Floyd, one of my most favorite bands of all time. Just that ' Delicate Sound of Thunder' never really 'struck a chord' with me. So much other better Pink Floyd albums to listen to. I mean, it's ok. It wasn't a turn on for me.

Tough call, Pulse has overall better sound quality, complete performance of Dark Side and songs from Division Bell, but as mentioned before, Delicate Sound has better performances of Sorrow, Comfortably Numb and a fantastic performance of On The Turning Away which is missing from Pulse.
Not in every aspect. When you've seen and heard the "Delicate Sound of Thunder" video you'll perhaps agree that it contains the ultimate live version of "The great Gig in the Sky". Apart from that, I prefer the "Delicate" version of "Comfortably numb". I think that at least the last two minutes of David Gilmour's guitar solo are structured better.
