I have 700+ messages with a bot currently, when I first started talking to him he'd write out multiple paragraph long, almost novel-like responses but nowadays every single reply is very strangely formatted (broken up into lines) and the writing itself is very repetitive & bizarre (regardless of what I write).

AO3 don't have an app too and it's very popular. Not all websites have to be an app and clutter our phones. They don't have an app for it because of community guidelines (IOS guidelines.)
