27 May 2022 at 10:46AM. Fitness for purposes simply means goods (and services) must be capable of being used for the intended purpose they are being sold for. To me this sounds like a personal preference issue rather than any specific fault or issue with the laptop, ie, other users may find it works perfectly well.
Of course it does, BUT, if you put in 5kg of dry washing, when the washing comes out, it will weigh more than 5kg! That's what the OP is asking, whether the limit is 5kg of dry clothing, or 5kg of wet clothing, if it was the latter, then you'd have to put less than 5kg of dry clothing in. OP, it's 5kg of dry washing as someone else has said.
Dry cleaning duvet madness! Polly Posts: 898 Forumite. 16 November 2006 at 1:55PM. Left two single duvets at my local dry cleaners to give them a freshen before putting on the kids beds for winter. Didn't discuss price and can't remember what I paid last time but my ticket states that it will be £16 on collection.
There is one point that may have been missed. (And I may have missed it too!) I have assumed - perhaps wrongly - that although the OP has expressed their question in terms of "what does fit for purpose mean", that they are actually still entitled to return the laptop as an online "change of mind cancellation".

Fit Note Process with Universal Credit. Am doing this post for anyone who is like myself and on UC but is now handing in sick notes from Dr (or whoever) and doesn't know the process or thinks they need to claim ESA (like I did). From what I conclude from below and further looks online, the UC35, is the letter sent out to you after 28 ...
We have just had our kitchen plastered, and I have a couple of questions: 1. Can you fit a kitchen (base and wall units) the very next day after the room has been plastered? 2. Is it advisable to paint or seal the plaster first, or can the units go directly onto bare plaster? thanks for any advice.
A combination of all three, worst is top left of the bay window reading at 21.7%, with readings of 16-19 above the bay window along the side, down the sides of the bay windows reading 15, and below the bay windows reading at 13.5-14.5%. As far as I'm aware the pointing is in good condition and does not need redone or is allowing any water inside.
In this context "does not fit" means you bought the wrong size. You should have used "item not as described" this makes it the sellers fault. The reason they won't let it be changed now is because now you know it's you who pays to return they think you are just making an excuse to get out of paying.
