They were one of the few large apartment buildings built in Detroit. [2] Triton Properties acquired the historic Alden Park Towers property, located on Detroit's Gold Coast (the East Jefferson riverfront) in 2012, out of foreclosure for $2 million in August 2012, and began a $5 million plus renovation of all 382 apartment units in the four towers.

The Chateau Frontenac Apartments was an apartment building located in Detroit, Michigan. It bore the name of the famous Château Frontenac hotel. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991, [ 1 ] but was subsequently demolished in 1999. [ 3 ]
The second phase included five additional towers in Jeffries West and Jeffries East, 415 apartments in a set of low-rise apartment blocks, added in 1955. [1] In total, the project included 2,170 housing units on 47 acres. [1] At first, the complex was popular among many Detroit residents who were eager to move into the new buildings.
The Garden Court Apartments were constructed for J. Harrington Walker (of Hiram Walker & Sons) in 1915. [2] Walker lived across the street from the Garden Court; when the building was completed, he moved into the top floor of the south tower (now units C8, D800, and D801). [2] The building originally housed 32 very large luxury apartments. [2]

The 1300 Lafayette East Cooperative is a large, 336 unit luxury housing cooperative in the Lafayette Park neighborhood of the near-east side of Detroit, Michigan.The building is notable for its address "1300" displayed in giant numerals on the North and South sides of the roof which are visible for miles in Detroit and Windsor.
