Creston School District is the K-12 school district in the Eastern Washington farming community of Creston, Washington. Due to the small size of the town, the elementary and junior high are in the same building; and the Creston Elementary School has combined classrooms: K, 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, and 5th/6th.
Creston High School (9-12) was the only secondary school in Creston, Washington until 2016. Now, the school is only open as an Elementary School (K-6) and a Junior High School (7-8). High School students attend school in the nearby town of Wilbur, WA. Also, note that the Junior High School serves both the Wilbur and Creston school districts

On August 6, 1902, in Creston, Washington, Tracy was cornered and seriously wounded in the leg during an ambush by a posse from Lincoln County. Sheriff Gardner arrived and had the field that Tracy had crawled into surrounded. Tracy committed suicide to avoid capture.
