The Canfield Fair is the largest county fair in the state of Ohio. In addition to an assortment of food, games and rides, the fair also hosts events and musical acts in its famous Grandstands venue. Concerts, monster trucks, demolition derbies and horse racing are some of the events held in the past.
Built in 1809 as a house, the War Vet Museum building is the oldest Canfield structure on its original site. Canfield is best known as the site of the Canfield Fairgrounds, which host one of the largest fairs in Ohio, the Canfield Fair. The fair has an average attendance of 350,000 over Labor Day weekend.
It was used until the track was closed to auto racing in 1973. Attendance varied from 30,000 people for larger events to 10,000 people for ones of less significance. The track is located at the Canfield Fairgrounds in Canfield, Ohio, and is still in use today, primarily during the Canfield Fair.
