Dealt with this for 2 days, then I called Ebay customer support: (1-866-540-3229). Spent 1.5 hours on the phone with a very nice lady. She was able to upload my photo the the listing, but I couldn't.
Watches come in eBay box and shipping is via Fedex. Yes, you can contact Fedex and have the package held at your local distribution center. Or, you can contact eBay Help desk and ask them to redirect the package for you. One of my Buyers did that and it worked very well. The buffer that PayPal represents and the ability of eBay customer support to intervene is what made it possible. Two elements have been eliminated, not just one. The new system is automated in a way that precludes the influence or interference of eBay customer service to do anything as far as I can tell.
@daninmanchester . Print the invoice to a PDF file and then send the PDF to the buyer. If you have trouble sending the pdf via eBay then covert it to a jpg or ask the buyer for their actual (real) email address (eBay legal when you have a completed and paid for transaction).
January 3, 2022 is not a choice in the drop down for purchasing a shipping label through Ebay shipping. January 3rd is not a holiday and USPS is open for business. So far I have called Ebay customer support, reached out to AskEbay on Twitter and did a chat with an agent. No one so far can get this corrected.
