Fort Henry Mall, formerly Kingsport Town Center, located in Kingsport, Tennessee, is the only regional shopping mall serving Kingsport. It was opened March 10, 1976, as a two-level mall located at the intersection of Fort Henry Drive and Memorial Boulevard. It is owned by Hull Property Group.
This community's name was adopted due to the number of people with the Ford surname who lived in the area. [2] [3] Country singer Tennessee Ernie Ford (1919-1991) was born in Fordtown. [4] The community is accessed by the road named after it, Fordtown Road.

Robert William Pressley (born April 8, 1959) is an American former NASCAR driver who previously served as the promoter at Kingsport Speedway in Kingsport, Tennessee. Pressley currently owns the restaurant Celebrity's Hotdogs in Asheville, North Carolina. Pressley was also a County Commissioner in Buncombe County, North Carolina.
The community was called Millwood in early times and continued so for many years. It was not until 1855, when Colonel George Whitfield Telford, a state senator who operated the Telford Manufacturing Company, donated about four acres of land to support local operations of the East Tennessee and Virginia Railroad, that the name Millwood was changed to Telford Depot.
