By 1856, the organization became more structured with a loose set of rules, with monthly meetings held over dinner at the Parker House. [1] The Parker House served as their place of meeting for many years. It was a hotel built in 1854 by Harvey D. Parker. [3] [4]

In 2000, Omni Hotels struck a deal with Turner Broadcasting to build a 600-room tower wing addition next to their existing hotel located in the CNN Center. The new wing opened in 2003. Omni bought Time Warner's share of the building in 2017. [11] In 2010, Omni Hotels purchased the Amelia Island Plantation in Florida for $67.1 million. [10]
