Catamount Lodge: Opened in 2019, this is the new lodge that houses food services, offices, ticketing, shop, restrooms, and seating. It is located in front of the Kids Cat carpet. Taconic Lodge: This is a temporary lodge with a shop, restrooms, and seating. It is located at the bottom of the mountain near the Ridge Quad.
The old Poma Summit Triple lift was moved to Catamount Mountain Resort in Egremont, Massachusetts. In 2023, the ski area added a Leitner-Poma high-speed detachable quad chairlift. The lift was named the T-Bar Express in honor of a removed T-Bar surface lift that ran along the same area of the Competition trail.
Catamount Mountain is a 1,814-foot-tall (553 m) mountain in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. It is located southeast of South Colton in St. Lawrence County. In 1917, a 35-foot-tall (11 m) steel fire lookout tower was built on the mountain. The tower ceased fire lookout operations and was later removed in the early 1980s.
Mount Fray, 1,893 feet (577 m), also known as Catamount because of the Catamount Ski Area located on its north slope, is a prominent peak of the south Taconic Mountains, located in southwest Massachusetts and adjacent New York. The summit is open and covered in scrub oak; it offers views west over the Hudson River Valley.
