Queensway Secondary School (QSS) is a co-educational government secondary school in Queenstown, Singapore. It offers a four to five-year course leading to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level or Singapore-Cambridge GCE Normal Level examinations.

Commonwealth is a subzone of Queenstown, located in the central-western part of Singapore.It is named after the Commonwealth of Nations.Commonwealth consists of Housing and Development Board flats, and there is one primary school and a secondary school in the area, New Town Primary School and Queensway Secondary School.
It is to provide more pathways to the tertiary education for the Secondary 4 N(A) students instead of going Secondary 5N to take the O-Level. To be eligible, a student must get at least a Grade 3 for the ELMAB3 subjects, getting no more than 12 points (excluding CCA points) and expected to be the top 10% cohort in the whole cohort of Singapore.

The school was opened on September 8, 1981 at a closed Queensway Senior School. [5] [6] In September 1983 ESA moved to its current home in the building of Royal York Collegiate Institute which had been closed in June 1982. The school gained a strong reputation over the next decade as one of Toronto's best secondary schools.
