Thomas Cusack was born in Manhattan to James and Honora (née Boland) Cusack. [1] His parents were Irish immigrants who came to the United States on their honeymoon. [2] His childhood was spent on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, where he attended the parochial school of St. James Parish.
