The snowshoe hare (Lepus americanus), also called the varying hare or snowshoe rabbit, is a species of hare found in North America. It has the name "snowshoe" because of the large size of its hind feet. The animal's feet prevent it from sinking into the snow when it hops and walks.
The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! is an animated musical educational children's television series feature starring Martin Short as The Cat in the Hat. The series premiered on Treehouse TV in Canada on August 7, 2010, also airing on YTV and Nickelodeon Canada on weekday mornings from 2012 to 2013, [1] and on PBS Kids and PBS Kids Preschool Block in the US on September 6, 2010.
The series takes place in a world of anthropomorphic animals and follows the adventures of Sam Snow and Kit Casey, two agents employed by the Covert League of Animal Detective Experts (or C.L.A.D.E. for short), as they travel around the world solving many mysteries while using their expertise in problem-solving and animal facts.
The cartoon features the pre-adolescent Native American boy Pow Wow, as well as the tribe's medicine man, and a Native American girl who is a friend of Pow Wow's. [2] The cartoons often center on Pow Wow's discovery of an animal, hurt or otherwise, and his attempts to protect the forest and wildlife from various threats.
The rabbits remain active all year. When spooked a rabbit will run a couple meters then hide and freeze with ears erect, if further pursued the rabbit will hop away in a semicircular path to try and trick the predator. The only behavior to reduce predation is limiting active time to dusk and dawn, and the semicircular path they hop when chased.

Ami and the Trio frequently find that they can go to many other places, such as a jungle, a forest, a baseball stadium (complete with crowd) and an RPG -style dungeon , without actually leaving the room.
