Hi. Please help. Are they correct? I think no. 2 is correct. I am not sure about no. 1, but I think I can write, "you can use a writing instrument to write" (to check the correctness of the preposition) Confusing but, could I write "you can use a writing instrument to write with" (to check the correctness of the preposition)?
suttano,it is uncountable...Since 'ethics' is uncountable..If am wrong please correct me..."Ethics" is one of those nouns which appears to have the same ending as plural nouns but which is in fact singular - there is a related singular noun without the -s which has a regular count plural: "Two distinct ethics are in conflict in this school".
