Spur is a city in Dickens County, Texas, United States. The population was 863 at the 2020 census , [ 2 ] down from 1,318 at the 2010 census . A city council resolution passed in July 2014 proclaimed Spur the "nation's first tiny house-friendly town."
Farm to Market Road 800 (FM 800) is located in Cameron County in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. FM 800 begins at an intersection with FM 2520 southwest of San Benito. The highway travels in a northwest direction and intersects FM 509 and FM 1479 in Rangerville. FM 800 runs in a westward direction before turning to the north at FM 3067 near La Feria.
Spur 1966 was designated on February 23, 2012, as Spur 73, but to avoid confusion, it was changed to Spur 1966 on March 29, 2012. The number was chosen to honor the NCAA championship won by the 1965–66 Texas Western Miners men's basketball team as the road passes the university (now known as The University of Texas at El Paso).

Spur 527 is a 0.863-mile (1.389 km) spur route in Midtown Houston in the U.S. state of Texas. The roadway is a freeway spur that feeds traffic from the Southwest Freeway (Interstate 69/U.S. Highway 59) into Downtown Houston. The route is mostly unsigned, except for a sign posted on the southbound side, right after an intersection with Smith Street.
