Prayagraj Municipal Corporation (formerly known as Allahabad Municipal Corporation) [5] is the governing civic body of Prayagraj city in Uttar Pradesh. It is responsible for the civic infrastructure and administration of the city. It was established in 1863 as the Municipal Board of Allahabad under the act of 26 of 1850. [6]

The 2019 Prayagraj Ardh Kumbh Mela was the Ardh Kumbh Mela held at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India from 15 January to 4 March 2019. [ 3 ] [ 1 ] This event will be followed by the Prayag Maha Kumbh scheduled for January to February 2025.
